Sunresin plans phased Pucheng production, including peptide-synthesis supports
Sunresin expects its Pucheng life-sciences industrial park in Shaanxi to be completed and enter production in phases over approximately two years, the company said in its May 20 investor-relations disclosure. Approval procedures were progressing, with peptide solid-phase synthesis supports explicitly included in the planned product scope.
The park will also cover oligonucleotide supports, chromatography media and packing, enzyme carriers and chromatography equipment. Sunresin did not identify which workshops or phases would manufacture peptide supports, or disclose their annual capacity.
A May 19 project notice described RMB1.15 billion investment and proposed output of 16,400 tonnes/year across mixed resins and supports. Those figures cover the whole project, not peptide-synthesis resins alone. The revised plan moved the intended construction start from June to August 2026; it did not confirm that construction had begun.
Sunresin separately discussed existing supply of Seplife 2-CTC and Sieber resins in the investor exchange, but did not assign those products to Pucheng. Nor did the project disclosure establish specific customers or qualified commercial output from the new park.
The two-year guidance is therefore a phased development expectation, not a fixed startup date for peptide-resin production. The company’s statement that approvals were progressing also leaves the status of individual environmental and construction permissions unspecified.
